Shmear Collective is a social movement.

When we set out to build a Jewish cream cheese and streetwear, our goal was to create something with an innately Jewish identity that could have widespread appeal– Spreading Shmear Not Smear.

Our goal has always been and will always be to be a brand that stands on its own two feet regardless of its mission. The garments speak for themselves, intricately designed down to the smallest details, yet simple and high quality. 

Who we are:

We are two friends, an American and an Israeli, each very in touch with his own Jewish identity. But, when we set out, we had a clear vision that we wanted to take a new and fresh approach to expressing our jewishness. 

It’s not about the money!

Profits will be donated to causes which align with our mission statement of Spreading Shmear and Not Smear. Simply put, organizations that fight against hate speech.

At Shmear Collective we recognise our responsibilities to workers for the conditions under which our products are made. These responsibilities extend to all workers producing products or services for us.

We believe that good workplace standards, decent health and safety requirements, fair pay and conditions, and care for the environment are important elements in business success.

For the reasons above, we have ensured that our suppliers comply with WRAP, BSCI, the Bangladesh Accord.

While sometimes plastic is a necessary medium, we’ve been on a journey to reduce the amount we use in our supply chain. Plastic can cause a lot of harm to both people, and the environment. Chemicals in plastics get absorbed by humans and marine life through food and water, having a detrimental effect on both.

When possible, we've removed single use bags, duster bags and make every effort to use mailers form recycled materials.

Given we are a young brand still working out our logistics, we are not able to accept exchanges or returns currently unless an item arrives damaged. We hope you understand.
